October is a very special month because it raises awareness to Breast Cancer and Pregnancy & Infant Loss.
1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. 1 out of every 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage and 1 and every 160 pregnancies end in stillbirth. These numbers do not include infant death from preterm labor, diagnosis of life-limiting conditions, or SIDS.
If you or someone you know has lost a child due to stillbirth, miscarriage, SIDS, or any other cause during pregnancy or infancy, please join me in observing this month.
Their time may have been brief, but lets keep their memories alive.
